Aims and Purposes

Our aim is to contribute to meeting the spiritual, social and physical needs of all those local individuals and families we come into contact with through the various activities of the church. This is irrespective of their background, culture, ethnicity or station in life. The activities we provide seek to build a strong community where everybody feels valued and supported. Our aim includes concern for others outside our own locality and beyond our shores. We hope to independently support number of organisations and agencies in the future. Our overall purpose is to be a channel for good, by sharing the Christian faith by word and deed and thereby making a positive contribution to society as a whole.

Church Achievements

We are in the process of building a Christian community where people of all ages and backgrounds belong. There are a variety of opportunities to meet for corporate worship, teaching, discussion and bible study.

We believe that what we do helps to build strong families. We provide support and encouragement for parents through the children's clubs, Parent and Toddler group and many other activities. The children have great fun participating in games and activities at the clubs, as well as learning about God. They also develop life and social skills, mixing with other children of a similar age.

We recognise the importance of respecting and caring for the older members of our community, this includes providing the practical and pastoral support they need, e.g. a phone call, a home visit, a lift to the doctors or a chat. There are activities such as coffee mornings where they can renew friendships and enjoy each other's company.

We support different charities across the world that relieve hardship and suffering; meet development and educational needs and share the Christian faith.
